It's normal to have a hundred questions...

Just call us and ask or come in and see us.

We have a self-contained Baby Unit to take account of the particular requirements of young babies aged from 3-18 months. The rooms are situated on the ground floor and are light and airy. The unit includes a playroom, a quiet room and a changing room.

Our baby rooms are brightly decorated and include a superb range of age-appropriate equipment, which is regularly renewed. The most important aim of our baby rooms is to provide a happy, safe and loving environment where children can learn and develop to their full potential.

Your baby will have continuous love and care from a team of experienced Nursery Nurses and a fully qualified Key Worker who has specific knowledge about young babies and their needs.

Our baby unit cares for babies from the age of 3 months. We work with you to understand your baby's needs and routine and will follow that as closely as we can. Your baby will have their own key worker who will get to know your baby and always be able to offer them security, familiarity and comfort. Our baby care offers a bright and positive environment that they quickly become familiar with and will settle easily and quickly when they are with us.

At the start of their session with us you can tell us how they have slept, if they are slightly under the weather and any other aspect that you feel we should know for the day ahead. At the end of the day when you pick them up, we will do the same giving you the confidence we have looked after your baby.

Our baby unit team is dedicated to nurturing your baby to help them settle into nursery life with us and we ensure that every day is full of fun and interaction for them as well as love and care from our team of outstanding nursery nurses.

Our highest priority and the aim of our baby floor is to provide a happy, safe and loving environment where your child can learn and develop to their full potential.

"Daisy - The Playroom"

Painting, Drawing & Creative Play

The Daisy Room is on the first floor of our nursery and provides the perfect place for your toddler to explore and develop. We divide the toddlers into different groups each day and they follow a daily routine that is carefully planned in advance to provide stimulation and social interaction in a fun and caring environment.

We use a themed approach for our daily activities in Daisy and the themes last around 3 months including stories, music, art and craft, sand and water play and cooking and this supports them to work towards becoming part of our school room preschool when they get to the right age.

In both Buttercups and Daisy, we have rest time and a sleeping room for the children as we understand that children at this age often still need a sleep during the day, as well as how important sleep is for a child's happiness and to enable them to develop and learn.

All staff have a minimum of Level 3 Childcare and all have obtained Food Hygiene, Child Protection and First Aid certification.

"Buttercups - The Creative Room"

Learning through play and creativity

Buttercups are based on the first floor of our nursery and the room, and our care aims to help and support children transition from our baby floor through to our toddler Daisy room. The aim of Buttercups is for the children to learn through play and creativity between the ages of 18-24 months.

The Buttercups room has a homely feel, is comfortable and bright and we have different areas so your child can be creative, play and also relax or sleep if they need to at specific times of the day.

Our Buttercups team focuses on language development as well as giving the children the opportunity to be involved in lots of different learning and play experiences. The Buttercups daily activities are pre-planned and include art, crafts, singing, dancing, construction, storytime, sand and water play and role-play.
